Our Impact
Our goal is to create a community of people who support and care for one another for sake of Allah (SWT) as we journey through our time at the University of Maryland. In an effort to succeed the MSA provides students and alum the forum to learn more about Islam, practice Islam comfortably and create a positive impact on the community we are a part of.
((وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ)) قال تعالى في كتابه العظيم
Allah (SWT) says in the Quran, "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."

The MSA has been serving the local Muslim community in and around the University of Maryland since 1969.

The MSA has been influential with over 50 programs throughout our history. From inviting Congressional Leaders to having weekly halaqa's we have served this community through action.
